ProTek Recycling is looking to hire a full time or part time driver to work on a pick up crew.
Be home every night! Routes are to NYC, Boston and the Capital Region working in 2-3 person crews. This position would require warehouse work as well in order to obtain full time hours. However we are open to hiring a part time driver as well if someone only wanted to do driving.
Strong candidates are those who are able to professionally interact with customers, think on their feet, handle changes and work in a quick and efficient manner. Candidates must have experience driving box trucks.
Responsibilities:
Operate 16 ft and 26 ft box trucks- automatic transmissions
Driving safely and obeying traffic laws
Provide excellent customer service
Handle and load and unload products into truck
Other tasks as asked by management
Requirements:
21+ years old Clean driving record
CMV Medical Examiner's Certificate
Undergo substance screenings
Pass a background check
Able to lift 50 lbs throughout shift
Class B CDL Driver's License
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $16.00 /hour

High school or equivalent
Required experience:
Driving box trucks larger than 16 ft: 5 years
Required license or certification:
CDL Class B or D if you have experience driving trucks
