
Class A Blower Truck Operator Job
Requirements:
• Must possess a valid CDL class A
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Will submit to a criminal background check
• Must be able to consistently pull and lift a load of 80-100 lbs.
• Typical seasonal schedule:
March through October – 50-60 hours/week
November – February hours dependent upon weather and projects
Generally responsible for delivering 2-3 truckloads per day
• Work region includes the Denver metro area with the possibility of further travel
• Must submit to and pass random DOT drug screens
• Responsible for daily light maintenance of the blower truck
Job Responsibilities:
• Move the blower truck safely between the yard and job sites
• Remove hose pipe from the truck, dragging it long distances, connecting 30’ sections of pipe together, and then reversing the process at the end of the job to prepare the truck to move to the next job
• Manage the assigned technician. This includes tracking hours spent on each jobsite, as well as logging operator and tech work hours
• Physically operate the blower truck using a body mounted remote to ensure safe operation
• Responsible for daily route planning, maximizing efficiency
• Responsible for daily/weekly/monthly inspections and reports for proper maintenance scheduling
• Responsible for leaving every job site as clean as, or cleaner, than arrival
Pay: $45,000/year
